Happy Easter !
I never complain about the heat - but man, do I hate the bitchin cold

My husband and I were over at my daughter-in-law's house last weekend. While we were there, our granddaughter saw a bug crawling around. Our 3-year-old grandson wanted to save it, so his mom got a little baggie and sealed it in there. She mentioned that the last time she did that, the bugs made holes in the baggie and got out.
Anyway, after our grandson "examined" it, he gave the bug in the bag to me to take home.
Hmmmm.... Well, when we left, I discretely left the bug there...at least I thought so. When we got into the car and started pulling out of the driveway, our grandson came running out the door towards the car. Of course, we stopped wondering if anything was wrong. Well...He had that bug in the bag with him...that special little bug that he wanted to give to us. He didn't want us to forget that bug. I guess it meant a lot to him that we take that bug with us, so we did.
Then we went to our favorite place, Barnes & Noble Bookstore. I opened the baggie and let the little bug out in his new neighborhood.
A few weekends ago, our two youngest grandchildren (the "bug boy"
and our 7-year-old granddaughter) stayed overnight with us. I guess this is a treat for them, since they ask us now and then if they can stay with us again. We went for a "nature walk", where they collected pine cones, stones, and dandeliions. I also took them where I work and showed them around...and, of course, bought them treats from the vending machine. We sat in the cafeteria and ate our ice cream. We have a store in our office building, too, where they sell candy, snacks, cards, clothes, and lots of other things. Since it was a weekend, the store was closed, but they want to come back when the store is open so that they can buy something there, too.
We also have an exercise room in the building, but I left that out of the "tour". They'd probably want to climb all over the equipment.
Last, but not least, here are some recent pictures of some of the grandkids:
